Thanks. Yes, the lighthouse was located at the public entrance to the beach. Had to walk about a half mile to the geocache. The geocache has since disappeared but the lighthouse is still there!

Cracking shot, i had to have another look as i couldnt make up my mind if it was cloud or sea in the background! I just love the leaning lighthouse and the clouds are really great. Well done.

Farol Tomson replied:

Thanks. A geocache led me to this site on the Yucatan. I walked out on this old dock to get this shot. Thanks again.

Wow, what an wild and crazy photograph. You seem to have a penchant for being in the right place at the right time. Keep rollin', Farol. aew I'm glad my cock-eyed lighthouse painting tickled your memory to get this picture out and post it. BRAVO.

Artist's Description

While geocaching I came across this cock-eyed (hurricane damaged) lighthouse in Puerto Morales, Mexico. Instead of dismantling it, they built another one next to it. I went out to the end of a pier to get this view.

Retired and am starting to love the challenges that each image presents to the camera. Searching for my 'perfect' image(s) if there is such a thing. No specialties yet, everything is fair game.
