Artist's Description
A total of 18 sculptures tell the story of Lewis and Clark�s return from the Pacific Ocean to meet the Nez Perce Indians who had given them food and traded with them a year before. These pieces local artist Shirley Bothum depict Explorers Meriwether Lewis and William Clark with Sacajawea , Corps of Discovery Guide, on their Journey west.
